The work of Matthias Contzen could be understood as a metaphor of the creation of the universe, letting the viewer free to name his own oneiric perception. But where are we ? In front of the earth or in front of a remote planet ? However, his work is meaningful to us, it is its paradigm. The artist drives us into the fantasmatic of his work and its organic reflections.
